8 days : Imperials Cities

In this journey MMH intends to bring you to the Moroccan capital of beauty and spirituality. We will leave Casablanca and its imposing Hassan II mosque to pass the utmost liveliness of Marrakech. Fes will surprise you for its spirituality and for its variety of markets where you can immerse yourself and have fun among the products of our land.

Day 1 : Casablanca

Upon arrival in Casablanca, Morocco’s economic capital, you will be met and transferred by shuttle bus to your Casablanca hotel. Depending on arrival time, you may have the opportunity to visit the city, including an optional visit to the Hassan II, one of the world’s biggest mosques. We hardly suggest this visit to understand what this tour will show you.

Day 2 : Rabat – Fes

After breakfast, we head by minivan towards Fes to begin our visit to Morocco’s Imperial Cities. On the way, we will stop at Rabat, the capital city and residence of the King. After lunch and some time to enjoy this beautiful coastal city, we continue to Fes, the spiritual capital of Morocco, full of mosques and tipical market.

Day 3 : Fes

After breakfast, take a guided tour of the Fes Medina, one of the world’s largest and best preserved medieval fortification, it is a UNESCO World Heritage site. Explore the narrow streets lined with stalls offering fresh fruit, spices, intricately woven Berber carpets and much more. The King’s Palace, the tanneries, and potteries are just some of places we will visit, before lunch in a traditional restaurant at the heart of the Medina. After lunch there will be time for further visits before returning to your hotel for the evening.

Day 4 : Volubilis – Meknès – Fes

After an early breakfast, the morning will be spent exploring the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis, which give a glimpse of life during the Roman Empire 2000 years ago. Lunch will be taken in Mulay Idris, one of the holiest cities in Morocco, and will be followed by a bus tour of the imperial city, Meknes. You will return to Fes in the evening for dinner.

Day 5 : Marrakech (full day drive)

After an early breakfast, the group will depart for Marrakech. The beautiful drive will take you up into the Middle Atlas Mountains and along the foothills of the High Atlas Mountains. Once in Marrakech, check into your hotel and then head off to Djemaa el-Fna, the central square of the medina. Coming alive at nightfall with local storytellers, musicians and other entertainers, it is well worth a visit. Sip a mint tea on the quiet terrace of one of the surrounding cafés and enjoy spectacular views over the bustling square.


Day 6 : Marrakech

After breakfast, enjoy a guided tour of Marrakech, the southern pearl of Morocco, and see the Palace of the Bahia, the Saadian Tombs, and many other hidden treasures. After lunch, marvel at the magnificent Koutoubia Mosque and conclude your day by exploring the souk, Marrakech’s traditional market.

Day 7  : Marrakech – Casablanca

The final day of your visit to Morocco begins with a go-as-you-please morning in Marrakech: the chance to complete your souk shopping or visits to the medina, Marrakech’s historic centre. In the afternoon, you will return to Casablanca.

Day 8 : Casablanca (departure)
