5 Days : Merzouga desert

 During these 5 days MMH will accompany you through world capitals of beauty and keep in touch with nature. By going to explore cities such as Fes and strolling through the Merzouga Desert, we are sure to be able to provide you with a memorable experience!
You will cross the Sahara Desert not only in the 4×4 but also with a camel ride, let the journey begins …

Day  1 : Fes to Merzouga

After breakfast, depart for Midelt through the mountains and cedar forests of the Middle Atlas. Take in the charming ski resort of Ifrane, and Azrou, known for its hand-crafted wares in cedar wood. Heading through the 2178m (7146ft) high Zad pass, you arrive in Midelt for lunch. In the afternoon, you will descend to Erfoud Errachidia through the Ziz valley dotted with palm trees. Continue to the sand dunes of Erg Chebbi, then enjoy dinner before your overnight stay in Merzouga.

Day 2 :  Merzouga – Erg Chebbi – Merzouga

After breakfast, you take the grand Sahara 4×4 dunes tour, visiting the two oases of Merzouga, the wandering sands, the Gnawa village of Khamlia and the mines of Mifiss. Cross the desert plateau to meet the nomadic Berbers and explore the oasis of Tissardmine, an experience that allow you to join the spirit and culture of our places. Returning to your Merzouga accommodation around 15.00hrs to go camel trekking and see the sun set over the dunes, you will always remember the colours of this lands and sunset . Your two hour trek takes you to a wild oasis where you will spend the night camping in a traditional Berber tent.

Day 3 : Merzouga to Dades Gorge

Wake up early to watch the sunrise over the dunes, during a camel ride to fully appreciate the moment. After breakfast, departure to Rissani and Erfoud, two of the most merchant cities in Marocco, and we visit the fossilized marble factory, that are nearby. Continuing on to the Touroug and Tinjdad palm groves. We have lunch in the Toudra Gorge, before continuing in the afternoon via Boumalne and the Dades Valley to the Dades Gorge, for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4 : Dades Gorge to Ouarzazate

After breakfast, return via the Dades Valley to the Kasbah of Ait Youl, where you follow a track allowing you to admire the kasbah and ksour of the Valley of the Roses, before reaching Kelaa M’gouna for lunch. Afterwards, continue via the palm grove of Skoura to visit the Kasbah Amredhyle, before arriving in Ouarzazate for the night.

Day 5 : Ouarzazate – Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech

After breakfast, the morning is devoted to touring Ouarzazate, where you’ll see Kasbah Taourirt, Kasbah Tifoultoute and the movie studios. Afterwards, visit Ait Ben Haddou and its Kasbah in Morocco, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Following lunch, head over the Tizi N’Tichka pass to return to Marrakech around 17.30hrs.
